We are seeking expressions of interest from appropriately experienced and qualified teachers/tutors to support the delivery of our Vocational Information and Communications Technology (ICT) courses during 2026. CQUniversity offers Vocational Education and Training (VET) units in blocks of 9 or 20 weeks and casual staff are contracted based on student enrolments in each of these blocks.

Position Requirements
Teacher
* A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education, or equivalent.
* Blue Card/Working with Children Check (desirable).
* Possession of relevant vocational qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered: industry qualification (certificate, industry certification, diploma, degree or masters).
* Several years industry experience in at least two of the following discipline areas:
o Network planning, installation, and configuration.
o Network security.
o Virtual computing.
o Cyber Security.
o Project Management.
o Business needs analysis.
o PC Hardware and software technical support.
Tutor
* Qualifications and/or experience which meet the recognised occupational competency standards relevant to their field/area and to the level of instruction.
* Several years industry experience in PC Hardware and software technical support.
* Blue Card/Working with Children Check (desirable).
* TAE delivery and/or Assessment skill set (desirable).
