**About the role**:
Ecolab are looking for a QC Technician to join our Quality Assurance Team in Darra. This is a wonderful opportunity to put your analytical chemistry skills to work in a role that will see you working with production to ensure quality and process guidelines are followed, completing performance testing, formula maintenance and approving raw materials. **Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Analysing samples from each production batch
- Start and end of line testing
- Provide technical support to sales and service team
- Investigating and documentation of findings
- Raw materials testing and approval against specifications
- Troubleshoot wet chemistry and instrumental analytical methods
- Keeping records and writing reports
- Mentor QC technicians and other team members
- An interest or experience in chemistry
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of good laboratory practices
- Computer / systems savvy
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Inquisitive nature
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to handle a high workload
- Demonstrated ability to work independantly and collaboratively in a team environment
