You’ll be involved in a wide range of nursing duties, including anaesthesia, prep and theatre support, nurse consultations, inpatient care, and occasional cover on reception. This diverse role offers great exposure and continuous learning within a supportive team environment.You’ll be working 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8am–7pm, Monday to Friday, with a shared Saturday rota. There are no out-of-hours, Sunday, or Bank Holiday requirements, allowing for a great work-life balance.Modern Facilities with a Longstanding ReputationOakfield Veterinary Group is a well-established practice with a loyal client base and strong community presence. We have consulting rooms, an operating theatre, Idexx lab, digital and dental x-ray, laser technology, ultrasound (including cardiac scanning), and we also offer care for exotic pets.A Supportive and Collaborative TeamAcross our three branches, you’ll be joining a friendly and cohesive team of 7 vets, 14 nurses, 4 VCAs, 3 receptionists, a client coordinator, a practice manager, and a clinical director. We work closely together, holding regular team and clinical meetings, and we actively encourage development – including funding and support for certificates.
