Back of House Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Back of House Manager to lead our stockroom team and ensure the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.
* Job Responsibilities:
As a Back of House Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction to your team around daily priorities, planning and managing stock deliveries, ensuring maximum stock availability, optimising the back-of-house layout, and assisting with stock loss management and procedures.
* Daily Priorities:
You will work closely with your team to prioritise tasks, manage stock movements, and ensure that all inventory is accurately counted and stored.
* Stock Management:
You will be responsible for receiving and processing stock deliveries, ensuring that all items are correctly logged and stored in the stockroom. You will also be responsible for managing stock levels, identifying trends and patterns, and making recommendations to improve stock efficiency.
* Team Leadership:
You will provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to your team members to enhance their performance and productivity. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need 2+ years' experience in a similar role within a high-turnover, large-format fashion retailer. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite are essential. Previous experience managing a team and excellent communication skills are also desirable.
