* Lead a small, capable team while being trusted to work independently and make decisions
* Enjoy the opportunity to wear multiple hats and contribute to something meaningful
About you
You are a motivated and strategic operator who thrives in a lean environment. You’re just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as you are influencing senior stakeholders. You’ll bring:
* Proven leadership experience in a not-for-profit, research, education or philanthropic setting
* Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, reporting and board governance
* A track record in fundraising, including securing major gifts and cultivating donor networks
* Experience building public awareness through marketing, branding and strategic communication
* A data-informed approach to donor engagement, and the ability to tell compelling stories that drive philanthropic support
* Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, partnerships and engagement
* Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to inspire and advocate
* A genuine passion for improving health outcomes and advancing medical research
* Experience in medical research, health, or philanthropic grant-making will be highly regarded
Why this role
