Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Technical Sales Representative to develop and grow sales within an assigned sector. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while representing the company in the market.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales growth within the assigned sector by identifying and securing new business opportunities
* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to maximize revenue and retention
* Proactively canvass the market and conduct outbound sales calls
* Prepare and present sales quotations, proposals, and related documentation
* Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within the CRM system
* Process customer orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely dispatch
* Attend customer meetings, briefings, and presentations as required
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
* Liaise with interstate customers and internal stakeholders
* Work to agreed sales budgets, targets, and performance KPIs
* Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates when required
* Provide customers with technical information and product advice as needed
* Support stock control activities and assist with ordering when required
* Ensure compliance with company policies, including maintaining a safe working environment
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a sales, account management, or business development role
* Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
* Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
* Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
* Strong planning and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel within the sector and interstate as required
