Situated on 30 acres between Rouse Hill and Windsor, Arndell caters for a growing population of almost 1300 students – with over 500 in Junior School (Prep to Year 6) and just under 800 in Secondary School (Years 7 to 12). Students are encouraged to grow in their individual abilities and interests within a learning environment that promotes optimism, respect, and ownership.

The Invitation

Arndell Anglican College invites applications for a fulltime HSIE Teacher, commencing Term 1 2026.

HSIE Teachers at Arndell are responsible for student learning and development, nurturing student creativity, academic achievement, and inspiring a lifelong appreciation for learning.

Reporting to the Head of HSIE, the HSIE Teacher will collaborate with the wider HSIE Team, other teaching staff and teacher aides to encourage students to grow intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. In particular the HSIE Teachers will:

* Teach across the spectrum of the HSIE curriculum courses for Stages 4 – 6.
* Design interesting and engaging lessons for students with a wide range of learning abilities and styles.
* Deliver high quality content to students that is engaging and accessible.
* Hold student attention and interest, employing a variety of pedagogies and differentiating / scaffolding work as required.
* Prepare students for national testing, competitions, and NSW Higher School Certificate examinations.
* Provide students with clear and fair assessment, including regular, constructive feedback.

About You

As a teacher of HSIE you hold qualifications in Education (Teaching), can teach across the spectrum of Stage 4 – 6 HSIE courses with the ability to teach a combination of Economics, Legal Studies, and / or Society and Culture an advantage.

You are goal oriented, highly organised, passionate about the education of young people, able to engage students who possess a range of interests and abilities, able to work collaboratively across the whole school, and are a person of Christian faith. With the expertise and enthusiasm to contribute to the teaching of HSIE your collaborative style and professionalism will see you build culture and community within a diverse and dynamic environment.
