Medical Support Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Medical Support Specialist in a dynamic environment.
You will be the central point of communication, providing exceptional administrative and reception services to staff members. This includes taking incoming calls, directing callers to the appropriate staff member, scheduling appointments, and maintaining clients' records.
Key responsibilities include performing medical reception duties, conducting general office tasks such as typing, scanning, filing, and archiving, and assisting with closing and securing the building at the end of the day.
Type medical letters for members of the clinical team, utilizing strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification.
* Exceptional administration, time management, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of the health sector with ability to liaise with diverse backgrounds.
* Proven record in working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Well-developed customer service skills.
* Able to think and act calmly, dealing sensitively with distressed individuals.
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
* Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality.
* Good availability.
* Eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card.
* Holds/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
* A current unencumbered driver's license.
