This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks’ notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Mental Health In-Patient Unit at Gosford Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality acute mental health care and crisis intervention across the Central Coast. Working within a supportive and multidisciplinary team, we provide a supported transition pathway mentored by Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs) and Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs), enabling you to develop confidence and competence in your role while delivering compassionate, person-centred care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
