About the Role

This is an exciting chance to join our Compliance Branch as an Assistant Director - Compliance and Assurance. As part of this team, you will be responsible for undertaking regulatory functions and leading a national team of Fair Work Inspectors.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting the Director - Compliance and Assurance in achieving compliance and enforcement outcomes

• Developing and leading the delivery of strategic investigations

• Managing complex investigations into entities and underpayments

• Leading large teams of Fair Work Inspectors and mentoring, coaching and developing team members

• Providing support and advice to the Director - Compliance and Assurance

• Ensuring exceptional customer service and driving innovation in service delivery

What We Require

We are seeking someone with:

• Strong investigation management expertise and experience leading investigative teams

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to build capability and enhance strategic awareness within a team environment

• Qualifications in workplace relations, law, law enforcement and/or investigations (desirable)
