Responsibilities: As a Chef de Partie at SK Steak and Oyster, you will:
* Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
* Take ownership of a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
* Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas to enhance our culinary offerings.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your section of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering their growth and development within the team.
* Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications and Skills: We are seeking candidates who possess:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant.
* Strong culinary skills and a passion for classic steakhouse dishes.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are a plus.
