The Senior IT Support Officer is essential in ensuring the smooth running of our Brisbane Head Office site located in Wakerley (East Brisbane). This role, which will predominantly operate on‐site, is primarily responsible for providing high‐level technical support, timely troubleshooting of IT issues, providing or sourcing the answer to complex IT issues, and being the on the ground go‐to for employees daily IT concerns.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide support and troubleshooting for hardware, software and network issues within the Brisbane office site.
* Manage helpdesk tickets in line with internal SOPs or practices.
* Provide general day to day IT support to colleagues to ensure the smooth running of IT equipment and software.
* Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees including profile set up & configuration for new employees, understanding department needs and profiling.
* Train employees on the use of IT equipment and software, security practices software usage etc.
Hardware management
* Install, configure and maintain company‐issued hardware (desktops, laptops, printers etc).
* Management of the IT asset register, ensuring the safe return of IT upon completion of use, and accurately recorded issuing of IT to employees, ensuring Acknowledgement of IT Forms are appropriately signed and saved.
* Troubleshoot or repair faulty IT hardware to the extent reasonably practicable.
* Manage software installation, updates and licencing compliance.
Dynamics 365 Support & Administration
* Provide Level 1 and 2 support, fault finding, and diagnosis of Dynamics BC issues.
* Keep abreast of new functionality as Microsoft releases new updates, understand the value add to the business.
* Provide application support cover for the Dynamics Applications Architect (Business Central).
IT Security & Compliance
* Assist with the creation, implementation, adoption and employee‐training of new IT Policies. Remaining up-to-date with the current landscape to ensure IT policies remain modern, appropriate and best practice.
* Manage and continuously monitor antivirus software and end point protection.
* Assist in IT audits as directed by the Head of IT.
Training & Documentation
* Provide end‐user training on applications (D365, BC, Power Platform, M365).
* Training and support on IT best practices, procedures, etc.
* Support L&D in the provision of end‐user support.
* Develop and maintain IT documentation, including knowledge base articles and system
* guides.
About you
* Proven experience using Business Central (required).
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role (required).
* Proven experience of troubleshooting complex IT issues efficiently and effectively.
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 Suite.
* Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
