The Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role includes but is not limited to:
* Working closely and collaboratively with a small team of dedicated mechanics and fitters
* Ongoing servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a range of marine engines and installations
* Managing a daily work routine in a fast-paced and often unpredictable environment
The Diesel Mechanic will work 7 days on, 7 days off with the opportunity to earn an attractive salary of $100,000+ per annum.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience with diesel engines and hydraulics in a marine or similar environment
Trade qualifications such as:
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (this meets the requirements)
* Certificate III in Heavy Diesel
* Certificate III in Small Engine Mechanical Technology
* Or a recognised qualification as a hydraulic technician
* A strong and proven work ethic and a positive attitude toward the role and the team
