Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced financial professional to join our team in a permanent role.
As a key member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Financial Controller with various accounting and reporting tasks.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include preparation and review of monthly/quarterly BAS, PAYG, and FBT returns, as well as general accounting duties such as accounts payable and receivable.
You will also be responsible for coordinating payments, preparing weekly cash flow reports, and assisting with budgeting.
Additionally, you will be required to perform end of month accounting reviews, journal postings, and intercompany reconciliations.
Management of fixed assets and preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations
* Confident use of Excel and ERP systems
