**Job Title:** Editor - Post Production
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled post-production editor to work on assembling and shaping projects from initial rushes through to picture lock. The ideal candidate will have expertise in offline editing, basic colour work, audio and delivery, cinema and DCP, media and project management, graphics and text, and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess:
* Offline Editing: Proficiency in assembling edits from rushes according to brief and script, creating and refining sequences, selects, and versions for internal and client review.
* Basic Colour Work: Ability to perform basic colour grading and balancing for offline edits, ensuring picture consistency across shots and sequences.
* AUDIO & DELIVERY: Familiarity with preparing video and audio deliveries in stereo and 5.1 (where required), organising and exporting audio-visual materials for sound mix and online.
* Cinema & DCP: Knowledge of exporting DCPs for cinema screenings according to given specs, performing basic QC on DCPs (checking sync, levels, picture, and subtitles where applicable).
* Media & Project Management: Ability to file/media manage projects, maintaining clean project structures for handover to online, grade, and sound, archiving and backing up projects following studio workflow.
* Graphics and Text: Experience with title card placement and basic text layouts, adding and adjusting subtitles and captions as required.
* Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work closely with producers, directors, and post supervisors to implement feedback, version control, and clearly label WIPs and deliverables.
