Learning Support Professional
This role plays a vital part in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment by partnering with teachers to support student participation, especially those with diverse learning needs.
The Learning Support Professional provides targeted support to individuals and small groups, modifying learning tasks and encouraging the use of strategies that enhance students' confidence, independence and social-emotional development.
They work closely with teachers and specialist teams to implement personalized adjustments that help students reach their academic potential and actively engage in the wider school community.
This position involves providing support as required to meet student needs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A Certificate III in School-Based Education Support or similar qualification is preferred but not essential
* A NSW Working With Children Check is mandatory
