Job Title: Program Coordinator
The Emergency Services Cadets program is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to work with us. As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing activities and programs that meet the needs of our cadets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research, prepare, develop, implement, and evaluate a range of activities and programs.
* Support the successful operation of the Emergency Services Cadets Program across Queensland.
* Build effective networks and develop partnerships with emergency services and community organisations.
* Work with relevant stakeholders to increase participation in the Emergency Services Cadets Program.
* Provide support to volunteers.
* Support the Emergency Services Cadets Program Manager in the daily service delivery and operational management of the program.
* Coordinate and deliver events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV Community Development or equivalent.
* 2 years industry experience.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders quickly.
* Experience working with, supporting and managing volunteers effectively.
* Experience in group facilitation, community development, youth development or similar.
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Emergency Services Sector.
* Effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and commitments.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Proficient skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Eligibility for a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and National Police Check.
* Able to travel on a regular basis (including school holidays).
* Hold an unrestricted driver's license, eligible to obtain an RDA if required.
