**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Media Planner/Buyer to join our team on a 12-month parental leave cover contract, with the possibility of extension. An excellent opportunity for someone with 3+ years of media experience to immediately take ownership of a major client and support our broader client base.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Utilise industry tools, insights and knowledge to develop media strategies and respond effectively to client objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive media plans across traditional and digital channels, including TV, radio, outdoor, print, social media, search, and display.
- Collaborate with the Media & Strategy Lead to ensure cohesive campaign strategies to deliver desired outcomes.
- Execute the set-up and optimisation of digital campaigns across Social & Search platforms, with strong expertise in backend implementation, including Google Tag Manager setup, troubleshooting, and custom tag configuration.
- Negotiate with media vendors to secure optimal placements and value-added opportunities.
- Manage campaign execution, including setup, monitoring, optimisation, and reporting.
- Leverage performance data for real-time optimisations and deliver actionable reporting insights.
- Handle campaign budgeting, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
- Support the Media and Strategy Lead on new business development initiatives.
- Manage and support digital and administrative tasks across multiple accounts.
- Stay abreast of emerging media trends and technologies to inform planning and buying decisions.
**Skills and Experience**
- 3+ years of experience with a solid understanding of Digital, Social, SEM, TV, Radio, Outdoor, Print and emerging digital platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as digital marketing platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Search, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and provide actionable insights.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Confident in presenting information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently to produce campaign strategies, recommendations, proposals and reports
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
