**The Company**:
This well reputed consultancy provide full design solutions for various projects including commercial, aged care, healthcare, educational, retail and high rise buildings. Based in their Melbourne office, you will be working with a team of 5 - 8 ESD professionals within a multidisciplinary engineering firm.
**The Role**:
Employed as a ESD Engineer you will be focused on providing the full range of design, reporting, modelling and analysis for ESD building services. You will assist senior consultants and lead smaller projects whilst developing the sustainable design of varied and engaging building projects.
**The Person**:
- Mechanical Engineering degree, or relevant tertiary qualification
- Circa **2 - 5 + years** experience working within a consultancy environment as a Sustainability Consultant or ESD Engineer
- Green Star Accredited Professional
- Applicable NatHERS accreditation (FirstRate, Accurate or BERSPro as applicable) or BASIX accreditation
- Proven experience working on ESD focused projects and using sustainable building technology
- Confidence in liaising with clients and customers with commercial awareness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent time management
- Comprehensive knowledge of local standards and building codes
Well regarded but not essential:
- NABERS Assessor
- WELL Accredited Qualified
- LEED Accredited Professional
- Built Environment Sustainability Scorecard (BESS) Trained Professional
- Clean Energy Council (CEC) Grid-Connect PV (Design)
