The Opportunity
The IT Manager is responsible for the effective management and delivery of information technology services across Carrington, including infrastructure, cyber security, business continuity, clinical and corporate systems. This full-time onsite position reports to the Executive Manager - Finance & IT, with a remuneration package comprised of base salary + leave loading, superannuation & NFP Salary Packaging.
Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance and performance of IT infrastructure, networks and systems across all business operations, including core systems (ERP, HRIS, payroll, rostering, document management and clinical applications).
* Managing the IT team, maintaining an appropriately skilled and resourced team delivering to service standards
* Translating organisational priorities into practical technology initiatives and operational plans
* Leading continuous improvement, including the delivery of approved IT projects, ensuring alignment with business and care delivery requirements.
* Managing IT compliance & governance, including IT security controls, data governance practices & business continuity
* Managing the IT operational budget in alignment with approved financial plans.
About you
Essential:
* Proven experience in I.T. management, preferably in an aged care or health setting.
* Demonstrated people management and/or leadership experience
* Experience with data governance, data analysis and BI tools.
* Excellent understanding of the business requirements and I.T. deliverables required by the business, including budgeting.
* Strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements.
* Good knowledge of business continuation planning.
* Proven organisational & project management skills, prioritising competing demands & managing concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Advance problem-solving skills and incident management skills.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting clinical systems
* Understanding of residential, community and independent living aged care operations
* Experience supporting mobile workforce technology
