Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Tour Guide and Support Driver to join our team. This is a full-time, hybrid role is focussed on the North East Victoria, with occasional requirements in other regions. It is ideal if candidates are either located in the region or comfrtable with regular travel, or basing themself remotely for the peak season from February through to May.
Responsibilities include leading cycling tours as well as providing logistical support such as transportation for guests and equipment, assisting with bike setups, and delivering detailed information about tour destinations. Ensuring that safety protocols are followed and maintaining the satisfaction of clients throughout the tour experience will be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
* Positive disposition, comfortable leading and presenting to groups and a love of cycling and adventure tourism and the great outdoors.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse groups of guests and ensure a positive experience
* Ideally some experience in guiding tours, customer service, or outdoor adventure roles
* Basic mechanical skills for maintaining and troubleshooting bikes
* Adaptability, organizational skills, and ability to manage logistics and schedules efficiently
* A valid driver's license and confidence in driving a vehicle with attached bike trailers
* Ability to work in a hybrid setup, balancing in-office, on-site, and remote responsibilities seamlessly
