We are proud to be partnering with a values-driven, for purpose organisation with a strong community focus. This is a newly created role to strengthen the ER / IR capability of the People & Culture function during a period of transformation and cultural evolution.
About the Role :
As the Head of People Solutions - ER / IR, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance, and leading a small team.
You'll have the opportunity to shape the function, lead a team, and influence organisational culture during a critical phase of change.
Lead ER / IR strategy and manage complex cases across a diverse workforce
Provide advice on enterprise agreements
Balance legal compliance with a pragmatic, people-focused approach
Prepare for and respond to external regulatory or tribunal matters
Build leader capability and confidence in ER / IR matters
Lead and inspire a small team
Support the Chief People Officer with HR projects and delivery across the People strategy
Support HR Generalist activity & flex into Business Partnering as required.
About You :
Proven experience as a Senior HR Professional with 10 + years' of experience
Pragmatic and adaptable – able to apply legislation with a balanced, practical lens
Experienced in ER / IR – confident managing complex cases and appearing at conciliations
Hands-on leader – comfortable leading a small team while managing cases personally and HR Generalist activity
Collaborative & approachable
