Job Title: Facilities Manager Part-Time
The ideal candidate will possess experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of overseeing the operational, safety, and compliance needs of buildings. The successful applicant will work closely with an onsite team to ensure that the building is maintained and operated in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner.
Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day needs of the building, including managing programmed maintenance, access control, CCTV, move in bookings and other computer-based building services.
* Contractor Management: Provide direction, manage contractors, and coordinate the onsite team to ensure high standards of maintenance (planned and reactive repairs).
* Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant Australian Legislation, Australian Standards, the Building Code of Australia, and good work practices.
* Financial Management: Operate within expenditure guidelines and authorities issued by the owners corporation.
* Stakeholder Relations: Manage key stakeholders, provide regular reports, and maintain effective communication.
Requirements:
* Property Industry Experience: Proven experience in the property sector, specifically within strata, building services, or facilities management.
* Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of building services, CCTV, maintenance scheduling and other computer-based building service programs.
* Project and Contractor Management: Demonstrated experience in project management and effective contractor oversight.
* Administrative & IT Skills: Strong computer literacy and the ability to manage a dedicated email account and facilities management programs.
* Relevant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, facility management, or relevant trade qualifications (e.g., carpentry, electrical).
