**Part-Time Nanny | Burleigh Waters, QLD**:
**Start Date**: ASAP
Pay: From $35-45 per hour depending on experience
**Contract Term**: Ongoing, with the potential to increase days
A young, active family from New Zealand, living in beautiful Burleigh Waters, QLD are looking for a warm, energetic, and friendly **part-time nanny** to care for their baby boy (5 months old) and their gentle golden retriever. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle, loves working with babies, and is happy to help keep a household running smoothly.
**Days and Hours: 2 days per week**:
- **Monday Wednesday preferred though can be flexible on which 2 days in the week for the right person**:
- **7:30am 3:30pm**:
- 16 hours per week to start, with potential to increase over time
**Typical Day and Responsibilities**:
- Morning walk with the baby and puppy dog
- Engaging play and skill-building activities
- Support with nap routines (independent day sleeps)
- Feeding (breast milk bottle or solids once introduced)
- Light household tasks: changing over laundry, keeping kitchen tidy
- Weekly supermarket shop (beginning or end of shift)
- Prepare family dinner on your working days
**Ideal Nanny**:
**You are**:
- Under 40, outgoing, active, and **super friendly**:
- Calm and warm with babies
- Able to fit seamlessly into a young, relaxed household
- Physically active and comfortable with an outdoor lifestyle
- Capable of light meal prep and basic household help
**Expectations**:
- 5+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred not essential
- Young baby/infant experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Blue Card Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non smoking
- Full drivers license and clean driving record ( Family can be made available for work purposes)
