Responsibility
* Lead teams in the development and implementation of a strategic action plan for the creation of College timetables.
* Develop and publish timelines that promote inclusion in decision making.
* Participate in the process of developing the curriculum program across the College including liaison with the relevant staff in developing the senior and middle school elective blockings.
* Identify human resource needs and communicate to Principal as appropriate.
* Liaise with Principal and HR Finance Officer in relation to the employment of new staff and management of ongoing contract staff.
* Liaise with individual staff members on matters relating to teaching loads.
* Generate the most efficient timetable in line with the current VGSA
* Communicate timetable information to all staff in timely manner.
* Investigate timetable developments that will make the best use of resources.
* Support the Course Counselling, endorsement and selection process.
* Prepare data for Principals and Committees to determine number of classes to run the following year.
* Assist in Allocation of yard-duties and lunch time detentions.
* Liaise with business manager around student allotments for fee purposes.
* Upload the timetable into Compass.
* Assist with replacement staff allotments.
* On-going management and updating the timetable over the year.
* Be proactive in anticipating staffing requirements, and to participate in, and provide advice for HR and the School Consultative Committee on staffing issues.
* Support Daily Organiser - act as Daily Organiser when required.

VIT LANTITE
To be eligible for employment, transfer or promotion in the principal or teacher class a person must have provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching. In addition, from 3 August 2020, to be eligible for employment in the principal class or teacher class, a person who graduated from a Victorian Initial Teacher Education program after 1 July 2016, must demonstrate that they have passed the literacy and numeracy test for initial teacher education (LANTITE) requirements. This condition is satisfied where the LANTITE requirement is part of the Victorian Initial Teacher Education program completed by the person.

Elisabeth Murdoch College leads and implements initiatives and strategies to support the wellbeing of students, staff and the wider community. EMC is a lead school for the Department of Education Respectful Relationships initiative. We also have a newly established Inclusive Education team supporting students with additional needs including the new Tier 2 disability inclusion approach and Disability Inclusion Profiles (formerly Program for Students with Disabilities). EMC drives reconciliation in education, and celebrates and supports our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through our endorsed Reconciliation Action Plan.
