Finance and Accounting Position
We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting payroll processing, payroll tax lodgement, superannuation contributions, and assisting professional staff as needed.
* Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, including submitting payment details to relevant authorities and maintaining accurate records of employee salaries and benefits.
* Financial Management: Manage supplier invoices, payments, reconciliations, and track capital expenditures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Banking and Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, maintain corporate banking records, and oversee shareholder credit cards to ensure financial integrity.
* Clients and Debtors: Handle debtor receipts, client account reconciliation, debt recovery, invoicing, WIP reporting, and mailing invoices/statements to customers and clients.
* Budget Preparation and Compliance: Assist with budget preparation, statutory compliance, financial statements, annual tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Month-End Close: Support month-end close with journal entries, billing analysis, inter-office allocations, and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
