As part of the Westend family of businesses, our vision is to become a leading authority in podcasting—helping entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders amplify their voices and connect with audiences.We’re now looking for a Podcast Producer to join our team and bring this vision to life.The RoleAs Podcast Producer, you will be the driving force behind the production of high-quality podcasts for both Westend Podcast and our clients. You’ll manage the full production process—from planning, recording, and editing, to distribution and promotion. This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about storytelling, has technical expertise, and loves working with people in a creative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, produce, and edit podcast episodes for Westend Podcast and client projectsManage recording sessions in our Werribee studio (and occasionally on location)Collaborate with hosts, guests, and clients to shape content and storytellingHandle audio editing, mixing, and mastering to deliver professional sound qualityDevelop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely deliveryCoordinate distribution across major podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.)Support marketing efforts with promotional clips, audiograms, and reelsStay on top of podcasting trends, tools, and best practices to continuously innovateSkills & ExperienceProven experience in podcast production or audio/video media productionProficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Audition, Pro Tools, GarageBand, or similar)Strong storytelling, communication, and project management skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaborate with a creative teamA passion for content creation, entrepreneurship, and community buildingBonus: experience with video podcasting, live streaming, or digital marketingWhat We OfferThe chance to shape and grow a brand-new podcast studio in the WestA creative, supportive, and entrepreneurial environmentOpportunities to work with diverse clients, from local leaders to business innovatorsFlexible hours with growth potential as the studio expandsHow to ApplyIf you’re ready to help us bring powerful stories to life, we’d love to hear from you!
