What you'll be doing:
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate risk analysis tools that support the Wholesale Markets function and the Risk Policies
- Assist the Risk Analytics Manager in formalising the methodology and implementing key risk and P&L attribution measures for Integrated Energy portfolio, including "at risk" measures
- Work closely and collaboratively with Integrated Energy Trading and Origination teams to assist with, advise on and monitor the development and implementation of their trading strategies and contracts in the context of risk management
- Work closely with the Portfolio Growth team to assist in any short, medium or long term modelling, including assessment of impact of market, policy and regulatory changes
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure consistency and calibration between finance models and Risk models, as well as the relevant analysis
- Contribute to Risk Management Committee and other Governance body reporting
About You
What you'll bring to the table:
- Strong understanding of wholesale commodities
- Experience in utility, commodity or financial markets
- Strong skills and experience in developing and maintaining collaborative and effective relationships with other teams
- Proactively propose practical, efficient and effective solutions to new problems
- Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative or business discipline required
- Intermediate Excel and SQL skills. Knowledge of a programming language a plus (Python, R, VBA)
