Former Customer Services Branch - TMR
This position is part of the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) as part of the recent Machinery-of-Government changes. CDSB is currently in negotiations for a certified agreement to cover all CDSB employees. In the meantime, the T MR Agreement conditions apply to this position.
The Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) is excited to welcome a temporary full-time Regional Advisor (Finance and Business Management) to the team in Rockhampton.
As the Regional Advisor (Finance and Business Management), you will:
* This role reports to the Director (Central) and contributes to the direction, strategies and management of the region and division by providing expert and authoritative advice in relation to financial management, and facilitation of business planning processes and the development of performance measures, new initiatives and policies and procedures.
* Coordinate and manage corporate finance, asset and business management processes for the region.
* Advise Regional Management Team and staff on matters relating to business management policies and procedures across all functions and product lines.
* Coordinate and manage the timely preparation of financial and business management reporting to facilitate analysis, informed resource allocation and preparation of regional finance and business statements.
* Coordinate and manage procurement activities for the region.
* Liaise and consult with managers, colleagues and staff throughout the department to maximise consistency in the application of policies, procedures and operations.
* Participate actively in corporate special projects relating to financial management, business planning and business management as required.
