* Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
* Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, delivering accurate reporting.
* Analyse financial data to support strategic decision‐making processes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate budget preparation and monitoring.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax reporting requirements.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with professional qualifications such as CA or CPA.
* Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
