Overview We are looking for experienced chefs and cooks for our client in Mount Isa, QLD.
The positions are full time, $70k-$80K a year salary + Super depending on the experience and the position.
Responsibilities Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possibleManage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guide linesEnsure hygiene is maintained to the required standardsMaintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after serviceAssist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are metAble to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade Qualifications At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience is required in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)Appropriate trade qualificationsExperience in fast paced, service and quality focused venuesGuest orientated and passionate about foodSound knowledge of food hygiene practicesThe ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detailExcellent interpersonal skills, relatively valuable English communication skillsHappy to work split shiftsPossess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the teamIf you are qualified and interested in the position please apply ASAP.
