One-off opportunity Sunday 22 March 2026 Location: Embassy of Afghanistan- 4 Beale Crescent Deakin ACT Shift available- 9.30am-1.30pm The Program Volunteers will support staff to promote Australian Red Cross programs based in the ACT. Existing volunteers can share their volunteering experience with potential volunteers at the International Day of Nowruz. The OpportunityThere is an opportunity to talk with potential volunteers who are interested in volunteering in our programs including Emergency Services, Retail and Aged Care. Morning shift will assist with set up of the Red Cross stall and the afternoon shift will assist with pack down of the stall. What do I need to bring? Wear closed-in, comfortable shoes Own dietary-specific snacks if required Red Cross shirt if you have one The ImpactAustralian Red Cross will have a stall at the International Day of Nowruz (the Afghan/Persian New Solar Year) to promote the programs based in ACT and share the positive impact volunteering makes in the lives of people they assist.
