Transportation Manager Position
A leading logistics firm is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill a full-time Transportation Manager position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Staff supervision and management
* Client relationship building and maintenance
* Overseeing the operational functions of the transportation department, including customer service, administration, and dispatch operations
* Providing backup support to various staff positions, including internal sales, customer service, administration, and dispatch teams
* Reviewing, generating, and implementing internal processes to improve efficiency and productivity
* Analyzing and processing data to inform business decisions
Requirements:
* Previous experience in transportation management or a related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A professional approach to business management
* High-level organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
