 
        
        Overview 
Melbourne, Australia Territory Account Executive — founding member of the Australian Toast team. This field sales opportunity requires living in Melbourne or relocating. You will build the Toast brand locally, prospect, develop relationships with restaurateurs, and sign up new customers using a consultative approach. You will work with the RVP and other stakeholders to lay the foundation for the region’s growth and create frameworks, processes, and initiatives that define long-term success. The role offers autonomy and the opportunity to navigate ambiguity as a regional founder. 
Responsibilities 
- Generate list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close (experience with self-sourcing clients is a plus). 
- Conduct product demos and develop solutions that meet the prospect’s needs. 
- Partner with teams across the business to ensure delivery meets sales expectations. 
- Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities. 
- Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market. 
Qualifications 
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing or closing sales, restaurant operations, or a related field. 
- Founder mentality to work on 0-1 deals and thrive in ambiguity, with the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced, new environment. 
- Reliable transportation (reimbursement provided for mileage) as this is a field-based role. 
- Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels. 
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. 
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team workplace. 
- Self-motivated, creative, and flexible; general technical proficiency with software.
