Our client, a Leader in the Cold Storage and Distribution industry currently have a vacant position available for a All round Store / Forklift Operator to join their team located in YENNORA.
Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast paced working environment is essential.
Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands on role assisting with the day to day operations which will include picking / packing, loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse.
Shifts will initially run Monday to Friday from 11 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with a transition to 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM later on; flexibility is required as there may be overtime and weekend work when needed.

Pay Rate will be $37.50 per hour plus afternoon shift loading and applicable penalty rates
The role involves; but will not be limited to :
* Operation of Forklifts- High Reach
* Operation of Counter Balance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks
* Stock rotation, putaways and replenishment
* Picking and packing orders
* Usage of pallet wrapping machines
* Loading and Unloading Trucks
* General warehousing duties
* Ad hoc duties as required
To be considered for this role, you MUST :
1. Hold a current LF Forklift Licence
2. Previous experience on Toyota forklifts Advantageous
3. Have minimum 2 years experience within a similar industry or role
4. Previous experience with High Reach Forklifts and putaways a MUST
5. Moderate communication skills both written and verbally
6. Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
7. Have your OWN reliable transport
8. Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
9. Be reliable and punctual
10. RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
