Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a regional setting. The role involves working as part of a supportive and welcoming team, with opportunities to work in a variety of settings while working across both discipline-specific and multi-disciplinary teams.

The Flinders and Upper North region offers a relaxed lifestyle, breathtaking views, endless adventures, and friendly and diverse communities. With a short commute to work, you'll have more time in your day to spend with your family, friends, and explore the many attractions of the Flinders and Upper North region.

About the Role

* As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, while also guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. This position involves taking on more leadership responsibilities, including overseeing delegated activities and offering support to colleagues, all while ensuring the delivery of person-centered care.
* The Registered Nurse (RN/M1) role is ideal for nurses who are developing from novice to proficient practitioners. At this stage, nurses are focused on consolidating their knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and hands-on experience in various healthcare settings.

About You

* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* For RN/M2C: Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full-time equivalent, post-registration experience.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Requirements

* Satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance as indicated on the Role description.
* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.
