What you will do?
- Provide informative and safe instruction of water-based activities, such as diving and snorkeling, to all levels of guests and resort visitors
- Verify that the dive shop is regularly cleaned and stocked with a full range of sizes and available merchandise
- Follow weekly schedules and keep updated with the weather forecast including sunset, sunrise, and tidal information
- Orientate new guest arrivals at the beach club providing information on the range and scheduling of activities available
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities used for marine and tourism activities are well-maintained and in excellent working condition
More about you
- Broad knowledge of the marine environment, with a particular focus on Coral Reef Systems
- Previous experience and demonstrated skills in managing the administrative and operational demands of a busy activities department or similar function
- In-depth knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations and protocols
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer service
- Certification in relevant marine and tourism activities, such as PADI Dive Master or Instructor, Coxswain Grade 1 or higher, First Aid and CPR, manual driver's license, and other relevant certifications
