We're growing and looking for experienced Carpenters to join Qline Industries on a
full-time, permanent basis
.
This role is hands-on, varied, and steady. You'll be working primarily across
government vacant property maintenance and reactive maintenance works
under long-term contracts. No sales pressure. No chasing work. Just consistent jobs and clear scopes.
The Role
You'll be out on the tools, mostly working solo or in small crews, delivering quality maintenance outcomes across residential and light commercial properties.
Standard work hours are 6:30am to 2:30pm
, based on a
38-hour week
, with the opportunity to work up to
50 hours per week
. Some flexibility is required depending on client needs and reactive works.
Typical works include:
* Vacant property make-ready works
* Reactive maintenance and repairs
* General carpentry, fit-out, finishing and defect rectification
* Working across multiple sites within South East Queensland
You'll be expected to manage your day effectively, keep sites safe and tidy, prioritise reactive versus scheduled work, and take pride in finishing jobs properly.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Carpenter (Cert III preferred)
* Construction White Card (mandatory)
* Own tools and reliable transport
* 2–5+ years hands-on carpentry experience
* Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
* Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions in real time
* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise competing tasks
* Clear and professional communication with clients and team members
* Comfortable working independently and problem-solving on site
* Reliable, switched on, and able to deal professionally with tenants, schools and government assets
* Valid Australian work rights. No sponsorship available
* Willing to travel across Ipswich, Brisbane and the Gold Coast when required
