An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Allied Health Clinician Level 3 to join a dynamic transdisciplinary team within the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. In this senior clinical role, you will deliver specialised, high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient care to clients across the district while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary model of practice. You will provide advanced, person-centred care, act as a clinical consultant to colleagues across multiple allied health disciplines, and contribute to service development, clinical governance, and workforce capability through supervision, education, and quality improvement initiatives—making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and service excellence.

Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital is the main referral hospital for the Shoalhaven region, providing emergency care, medical, surgical and orthopaedic services. The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on high dependency and coronary patients, Children's Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre and sub-acute Mental Health Unit.
The hospital is currently undergoing a significant $440M redevelopment that will redefine how healthcare is delivered within the Region. Once complete in mid-2026, the new seven-storey Acute Services Building and refurbishments on the current hospital site will bring a focus on career development. allowing you to grow your career, acquire new skills and advance professionally as the hospital continues to develop. * Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Current AHPRA Registration or Social Work Degree and Eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or Membership of Professional Association for disciplines not requiring AHPRA registration.
* Valid NSW Drivers Licence and the ability to travel in accordance with position requirements
* Extensive post graduate clinical experience in aged care or community health.
This is a temporary parental leave relief position until 22 August 2027 with the possibility of an extension at same or reduced hours.
