We are currently looking for experienced transport forklift drivers for our busy client based in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Afternoon shifts with an immediate start, and an opportunity to join the team permanently! MUST HAVE LINEHAUL LOADING EXPERIENCE! Monday- Friday afternoon shift, 3pm - midnight To be successful, you must demonstrate the following: Current Forklift License Experience in loading linehaul 2-3 years' experience operating counterbalance forklift Comprehensive knowledge of freight, load restraint and CoR (Chain of Responsibility) Sound awareness of handling and consigning dangerous goods Accurate pallet counts and reconciliations Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Co-operative and collaborative team player A view that safety is always the highest priority You will require: Driver's license and reliable transport to get to work each day Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia Strong communication skills and English reading and writing ability Ongoing availability Mon-Fri and commitment Successful applicants will be required to complete an interview, physical assessment and drug & alcohol screening prior to starting.
