Nursing Education and Training Lead
This is a challenging and rewarding leadership role within the department of health, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development and delivery of nursing education and training programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and standards for nursing education and training across hospitals north. This will involve developing, implementing and evaluating programs for orientation, clinical skills and professional development, as well as driving workforce capability and succession planning through targeted learning initiatives.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation, regulatory and quality standards, and embedding evidence-based practice and clinical governance in all education activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with universities, professional bodies and internal stakeholders, manage education resources, budgets and staff effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current registration as a registered nurse with the nursing and midwifery board of Australia, plus postgraduate qualifications in nursing, education or health leadership. You will also need to have demonstrated leadership in nursing education, workforce development and compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
