**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales/Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Fieldpiece Instruments. As the primary point of contact for customers, distributors, and sales representatives, you will provide product information, process orders, handle customer inquiries and requests, resolve problems, and provide updates on orders and service requests.

We have been delivering rugged, professional-grade tools and testing instruments to HVACR technicians since 1990. Our products include spanning meters, manifolds, leak detectors, scales, and more.
**What You'll Do**
* Nurture existing customer relationships and develop new customer relationships.
* Manage calls and emails from customers, vendors, and internal departments.
* Enter, verify, and update customer purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
* Provide guidance on product selection, purchasing, services, warranties, policies, pricing, availability, and shipping.
* Resolve issues with customers through product exchanges, fixes, or returns depending on warranty policies.
* Manage logistics issues by filing freight claims for damaged or lost goods and issuing return labels for customer product returns or exchanges.
* 5+ years of experience in customer service and/or inside sales to provide product knowledge, ensure order delivery, and resolve problems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first demeanour.
* Industrial, mechanical aptitude and background to understand HVACR tools and instruments.
* Excellent problem resolution and consultative sales skills.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
* Experience working with international orders, shipment documents, and billing practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP software.
* Self-starter with strong organisational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
* Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
* Acuteness attention to detail and good judgement to make timely and sound decisions.
**Requirements**
* Degree in Business Administration or related field (desired)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
* ERP and CRM system experience (desirable)
