Our Team
From take-off to landing, Thales offers the most complete range of solutions to provide dynamic Air Traffic Services to support today's growing domestic and international travel requirements.
Utilising this knowledge and experience Thales Australia will deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS / OneSKY) in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence.
This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. OneSKY will transform Australia's sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery.
Your Role
The purpose of the position is to support the CMATS Training Team in the conduct of simulation and ATM dataset adaptation training and assessment involving system analysis, design, development, delivery and continuous improvement of the ATC simulation training solution for the Thales CMATS Project.
The CMATS Operational Lifecycle Support Instructor contributes to the CMATS Data Specialist and Training User training activities, including ad-hoc training requests, to ensure that the CMATS training solution meets or exceeds the CMATS Project objectives including efficient use of training resources.
The CMATS Operational Lifecycle Support Instructor will lead training for personnel who perform simulation configuration, dataset adaptation and exercise preparation and simulation training management activities in support of the CMATS.
Specifically, the CMATS Operational Lifecycle Support Instructor will demonstrate a high level of experience and knowledge in the application of Data Preparation (DPR) and Exercise Editor (EED) tools for the delivery of high quality, high fidelity CMATS simulator training for the CMATS.
