The Role
As Centre Director, you'll be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and daily operations of the centre. You'll guide and support a dedicated team of educators, ensure compliance with all regulations, and foster strong relationships with families and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of early childhood educators and support staff
Ensure high-quality care and education aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Oversee enrolments, budgeting, compliance, and reporting
Promote a positive and inclusive centre culture
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local community
About You
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an early childhood setting managing a licensed childcare centre with 50+ place capacity
Sound understanding of NQF, EYLF, and compliance requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Current HLTAID004 First Aid certification, valid QLD Blue Card, and completed Approved Child Protection course within the last 12 months
Current approved provider status with ACECQA and Queensland regulatory authorities
Must have permanent right to work in Australia
