This position is to join the head office of The Bob Wood Group, a company widely regarded as the leading Australian Inbound Tour Operator. Role Objective:
This role is part of the Product team and is responsible for designing & developing touring products as requested by clients.
Main Responsibilities
· Quote and prepare tour itineraries tailored to customer requirements.
· Liaise with suppliers to negotiate rates and services for events/activities.
· Research suppliers to meet special interest tour requirements and maintain supplier communication.
· Prepare large and complex tenders/submissions, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
· Ensure tours run as planned, meeting guidelines, standards, and cost requirements.
· Maintain regular communication with clients about current and new tour operations.
· Prepare documentation outlining activities for each tour during the quoting and tendering process.
· Copywrite and proofread sales materials and tour descriptions.
· Compile and submit tour details as needed for clients
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients through email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
· Provide assistance withh the loading of supplier rates
· Assist Accounts Department with invoice queries and discrepancies.
· Provide support in all areas of the business when required
Other Information
· Due to the nature of the tourism industry, the role will include working extra hours when operationally required and across possibly weekends and public holidays due to deadlines
Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge and understanding of the travel/cruise industry would be an advantage
Previous experience in itinerary planning and/or superior performance in management of group travel
Excellent product knowledge of Australia
Understanding of logistics

Computer Skills Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
· Experience using an in-house Reservations System such as Tourplan would be considered an advantage
