The Position
Reporting to the Head of Controlling Animal Health, ANZ an exciting opportunity has arisen to come and join our high performing team!
Your role will be to partner, advise and steer the business by providing financial governance, financial information, analytical insights, and recommendations for sustained business success while applying deep and broad understanding of accounting concepts and practice.
This role requires great understanding of commercial concepts and accounting practices and the effect they have on business operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Conduct monthly forecasting, and annual budgeting process
2. Ensure all financial planning data is accurately recorded in local & corporate systems
3. Liaise with Central Finance and GBS to ensure assets are correctly booked
4. Prepare and provide income statement to provide input to BU review presentations
5. Liaise with Regional and Head Office Controllers and provide information/comments as required
6. Review allocations on a regular basis and adjust as required.
7. Prepare and execute with ownership the month-end processes, including month end accruals & provisions as required while ensuring the appropriate checks and balances prior to finalisation
8. Review allocations and monthly results on a regular basis and advise of any adjustments as required
9. Anticipate and innovate reporting solutions that meet business needs, deliver efficiencies and/or value added insight that impact business operations
10. Lead initiatives that enhance business financial literacy and proficiency with relevant processes and tools
11. Work closely with business counterparts to bring visibility and analysis of customer group level Trade Spend and evolving issues
12. Review internal controls with financial impact and initiate changes as required
Requirements
13. A degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant
14. Qualified CPA/CA
15. Minimum 5-6 years of experience working
16. Experience working in an FMCG, or pharmaceutical company is highly desired
17. Extensive background working as a commercial/financial analyst/business controller
18. High level executive thinking and problem-solving capability, and attention to detail and accuracy
19. Exceptional communication skills and motivation to interact regularly with the business to build understanding and relationships
20. Ability to use data to influence and steer the business and adept at business partnering and advising
21. Leads project teams to achieve objectives while building credible and trusting relationships
