RMS Engineering & Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to lead our HR and recruitment functions across the business. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and enjoys partnering with leaders to support operational success.
Working closely with management, you will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, workforce mobilisation, compliance, and driving positive workplace culture outcomes across our projects and operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:
* Managing end‐to‐end recruitment across all business divisions
* Providing HR, IR and ER advice to managers and employees
* Supporting performance management, investigations and workplace matters
* Coordinating onboarding, inductions and workforce mobilisation
* Reviewing and improving HR policies, procedures and systems
* Assisting leaders with performance reviews and employee development
* Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, Enterprise Agreements and industry requirements
* Supporting workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor position
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and IR/ER practices
* Experience within civil construction, mining or related industries highly regarded
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
* High level of professionalism and confidentiality
* Current Driver Licence and White Card
