Our client is seeking a Revenue Coordinator to assist their team on a short-term contract for 3 months initially. Working in the office and from home (2/3-day split), you will be helping with the operation and management in the rating team to ensure that all the functions are performed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner with the clients' relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
You will support the team to ensure that all rating/valuation requirements are met in accordance with legislative requirements and guidelines and collect overdue rates and charges whilst adhering to relevant procedure. You will also prepare analysis, reports, statistical returns and claims for senior management.
- Experience with local government rating
- Tertiary degree or diploma in relevant field or extensive experience in rating and valuation functions.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative to improve processes and deliver high quality customer service.
- Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities to achieve objectives within a timetable and with resources available.
- An understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Be able to start at short notice and attend the office 3 days per week. If this needs to be varied, it would be considered for the right applicant.
