About the Job About the role The Identity and Access Administrator is responsible for managing the PTA's Joiners, Movers, and Leavers process, ensuring accurate user account provisioning, modifications, and deactivations across systems such as Active Directory, Exchange, and internal applications.
The role also oversees software licence provisioning, enforces role-based access in line with least privilege principles, and ensures compliance with PTA policies.
A key focus is on delivering high-quality service in accordance with SLAs, maintaining effective working relationships, and providing timely support to staff across the organisation.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the role contributes to business improvement by monitoring system performance, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to enhance service delivery.
It supports junior staff through coaching and knowledge sharing, helps maintain procedural documentation, and provides technical input to projects as needed.
The administrator continuously seeks to improve practices, regularly evaluates performance, and ensures a customer-focused approach to identity and access management across the PTA.
About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess: Holds an ITIL Foundation Certificate or relevant experience in an ITIL environment, with technical qualifications or recent hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and support internal customers and Service Desk Analysts in a team-focused setting.
Well-developed skills in analysing information, identifying issues, and resolving complex technical problems effectively.
Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a dynamic IT environment.
