An opportunity currently exists for an experienced physiotherapist to join the Bayside Health physiotherapy department in the cardiorespiratory stream. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high quality, overall physiotherapy management to patients in the ED, SSU, acute care ward as well as oversight of the pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation outpatient program. They will supervise and teach Grade 1 staff, allied health assistants and students, and will work with a Clinical Grade 3 general‐medicine physio and a Learning and Development Grade 3 physiotherapist. The role involves delegating patients for assessment, planning and treatment for all appropriately referred patients on the ward, communicating outcomes to nursing, medical and other allied health staff via documentation and handovers, and working with the Grade 3 to develop and promote new service initiatives for cardio‐respiratory patients.
Applications from current Grade 2 physiotherapists or suitably experienced Grade 1 physiotherapists will be considered.

Mandatory Requirements
* Physiotherapist registered to practice in the state of Victoria (AHPRA)
* Eligibility for membership of the APA and adherence to the APA code of conduct and ethics principles (if membership applies)
* Entitlement to work within Australia
* Current police check within 12 months of issue date
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Up‐to‐date influenza vaccination for healthcare workers as per Department of Health directions
* Post‐graduate qualifications in physiotherapy, public health, research, management or other relevant areas
